Claremont Student Housing

|
Located on the University ’s 5.2 acre site north of the main campus, the Graduate University Housing complex will be surrounded by a golf course, botanical gardens, a school of theology, and private residences. Because an earthquake fault runs through the property, the buildings will be positioned on 1.5 buildable acres. The balance will be a park-like setting with sports fields and a pedestrian connection from the neighboring residences to the botanical gardens. The three-story, ve-building apartment complex will have a mix of studios and one-and two-bedroom units totaling 190 beds. Amenities include a lounge/study area, laundry, administrative/maintenance offices and a secure outdoor child play area. The buildings will be arranged with a series of public and semi-private courtyard spaces enclosed within a secure perimeter. The design will complement the local vernacular with wood siding and stone exterior finishes. |
