This new 380,568 sq ft. Hospital structure consists of a five story Inpatient Tower with 174 beds (222 beds final build out) and a three stories plus basement Diagnostic and Treatment structure. The Hospital Support Building (HSB) will be located adjacent to the east elevation of the existing Ambulatory Surgery Center Building (ASC) on the Ontario Vineyard Medical Campus and will consist of a 5-level plus partial basement medical office building. The building will have departmental areas in the First, Second, and Third Floors with two levels of built-out at First and Second Floor and shelled space on the Third Floor for future tenant improvement. The Fourth and Fifth Floors will include the north elevator and stair tower, which will provide access to the Hospital’s Fourth and Fifth Floors. The overall building gross square footage is approximately 152,000 square feet. The HSB building will be connected to the new template hospital building at each level by circulation corridors which run east and west. The HSB will also be connected to the existing ASC building at the First Floor level by an access corridor with ramp. The HSB project scope will be issued as two separate submittals, which are the Tenant Improvement Project and Shell and Core Project. The Shell and Core Project is currently in the Construction Documents Phase and the Tenant Improvement Project is in the Schematic Design Phase. Located on the existing Ontario Medical Center Campus, this project will expand the existing Central Utility Plant (CUP) structure. It will consist of a two level structure for Administrative Spaces. The eastern and western expansion will be the CUP spaces needed to feed the new Hospital and HSB buildings. |
